In connection with the replacement of PN-EN 13463-1: 2010 and PN-EN 13463-5: 2012 by PN-EN ISO 80079 -36: 2016-07 and PN-EN ISO 80079-37: 2016-07 as reference documents in the conformity assessment to which the certificates of EGM fans refer, we kindly inform you that these fans will be replaced by a new series of EGT fans. At the same time we would like to inform you that the certificates of all EGM fans manufactured so far are still valid. Detailed information is provided by the Technical Department of Venture Industries Sp. z oo

Application

EGT fans meet the requirements of ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU , are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres outside mines and mining excavations and meet the requirements of Group II Category 2G / 3G – Zone 1 and / or 2 and Category 2D / 3D – Zone 21 and / or 22.

II 2G Ex h IIB T4 Gb on request.

Design

  •  Centrifugal medium pressure fan with direct drive
  • Impeller made of cast aluminium alloy (for category 2G units) or
  • Welded sheet steel (for category 2D units) with straight blades dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940-1
  • Welded sheet steel housing
  • Stand in models up to size 300
  • Motor base in models from size 400
  • Galvanised inlet and outlet guard
  • Black painted fan RAL 9005 (corrosivity category C3)
  • Maximum temperature of the pumped medium 60°C
  • Ambient temperature of the motor from -20°C to +40°C

Electric motor

  • Explosion-proof, asynchronous three-phase 230 / 400V, 50Hz or 400 / 690V 50Hz (depending on model)
  •  Single speed, 2 or 4 poles
  • Protection class IP55 (for category 2G fans)
  • Protection class IP65 or IP66 ( for category 2D fans depending on the model), Protection class IP66 No. 4 No. 2 No. 2 (for 2G and 2D fans adapted to frequency control and for single phase motors), Insulation class F No. 4 No. 2
  • Thermal protection PTC (depending on the model and motors for frequency control)
  • VFD version adapted to frequency control
